Bronze Medallion Course – Milton Centennial Pool
Dates/Times: August 7th – 3-8 pm; August 8th – 1-5 pm; August 9th – 6:30-8:30 pm;
August 11th – 6:30-8:30 pm; August 17th – 4:30-8:30 pm; August 19th – 4:30-8:30 pm; and August 22nd – Optional review day, time TBA. Cost is $100.00 including HST ($75.00 if you already have the manual). Participants must either be 13 years old or have completed Bronze Star. Deadline to register is July 31st, by calling the Recreation Department at 902-354-5741.
Milton Centennial Pool
Aquatic Programming begins on Monday, June 30th until Saturday, August 22nd:
Lane Swim: Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30 -8:30 pm, $2/ person
Public Swim: Monday to Friday, 1 -2:30 pm and Saturdays 1-3 pm, $3/person, $8/ family
Family Swim: Monday to Friday, 6:30 -7:30 pm, $2/ person, $5/ family, adult must attend
Aqua-Size: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:30 – 8:30 pm, $3/person
Rentals: Saturdays 11 – 12 noon & 12 noon – 1 pm, $35 /hr, $40/hr with BBQ

North Queens Aquatic Centre
Aquatic Programming begins on Monday, July 6th until Saturday, August 29th:

Public Swim: Monday to Saturday, 2 – 4 pm, $3/ person, $8/ family
Family Swim: Monday to Friday, 5 – 6 pm, &2 person, $5/ family, adult must attend
Rentals: Saturdays 12 noon – 1 pm and 1-2 pm, $30/ hour, $35/hour with BBQ

Physical Activity in a Box: Loan Program
Did you know that the Recreation Department has a variety of equipment for loan? GPS system, Nordic walking poles, parachutes, ladder golf and flag football set. There is a refundable deposit required upon pick-up, items will be loaned to those 19 years and older. Call the Recreation Department for more information!
KidSport is a national children's program that helps children overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. The KidSport program believes that no child should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. KidSport Nova Scotia provides funding of up to $300/year/child for sport registration and/or equipment. The next deadline for funding is September 1st, 2015. The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged children participate in organized sport and recreation. The Jumpstart program believes that “the answer to ‘can I play’….should always be yes!”. The Jumpstart program provides funding for registration fees and equipment, and there is no application deadline for funding.
