21st Annual Seaside Craft Show
Everyone is welcome to come to the 21st Annual Seaside Craft Show, Quilt Sale and Chowder/Chili Luncheon Sept 20 & 21, Sat 10-4, Sun 11-4.
We have a full house with a variety of crafts, quilts and a delicious homemade chowder, chili, biscuits and desserts from the kitchen.
Admission by donation, door prizes drawn on Sunday, and we’re wheelchair accessible.
Located at the Seaside Centre, 1066 Eastern Shore Road, Beach Meadows, just outside of Liverpool. Follow the pink Signs.

Food Safety Certification Course
A 6 hour course held over two evenings, on November 19th & 20th, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. each evening at the Best Western Plus Liverpool Hotel and Conference Centre, 63 Queens Place Drive, Liverpool, facilitated by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture. Cost $26.22 per person, includes refreshments and handouts. Register by November 12th, 2014, with payment, at the RQM Recreation Department. Physical Activity in a Box: Loan Program
Did you know that the Recreation Department has a variety of equipment for loan? GPS system, Nordic walking poles, flag football and Ladder Golf Set. There is a refundable deposit required upon pick-up, items will be loaned to those 19 years and older. Call the Recreation Department for more information!
KidSport
KidSport is a national children's program that helps children overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. The KidSport program believes that no child should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. KidSport Nova Scotia provides funding of up to $300/year/child for sport registration and/or equipment. The next deadline for funding is Novmeber1st, 2014. Jumpstart
The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged children participate in organized sport and recreation. The Jumpstart program believes that “the answer to ‘can I play’….should always be yes!”. The Jumpstart program provides funding of up to $300/child/per application for registration fees and equipment. The next deadline for funding is October 3rd, 2014.
