Swimming Lesson Registration for Milton Centennial Pool
Registration for the Milton Centennial Pool for sessions 3 & 4 will be held on July 22 & 23 at QUEENS PLACE EMERA CENTRE from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. First Come, First Serve.
Cost: $48/person/session on registration days; $53/person/session on non-registration days; Discounts: $107/family of 3+/session or purchase the first 3 sessions get the 4th session 50% off (Discounts are only available on registration days, and participants may only take advantage of one discount offer). Call the Recreation Department for more information at 354-5741.

Physical Activity in a Box: Loan Program
Did you know that the Recreation Department has a variety of equipment for loan? GPS system, Nordic walking poles, flag football and Ladder Golf Set. There is a refundable deposit required upon pick-up, items will be loaned to those 19 years and older. Call the Recreation Department for more information!
KidSport
KidSport is a national children's program that helps children overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. The KidSport program believes that no child should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. KidSport Nova Scotia provides funding of up to $300/year/child for sport registration and/or equipment. The next deadline for funding is September 1st, 2014. Jumpstart
The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged children participate in organized sport and recreation. The Jumpstart program believes that “the answer to ‘can I play’….should always be yes!”. The Jumpstart program provides funding of up to $300/child/per application for registration fees and equipment. The next deadline for funding is October 3rd , 2014. HGS Summerville Family Beach Party
Slap on your sunscreen, grab a hat and bring your family and friends to this Queens County tradition. This is a fun day for the whole family to enjoy music, games and a sand sculpture contest. Bring snacks, water, and dress for a day at the beach!
