Liverpool Junior Drama Club
Mondays, February 1st – March 7th, 3 – 4pm
Queens Place Emera Centre, Fitness Studio
Ages: Grades 3, 4 & 5
Instructor: Mary Kuhn
My name is Mary Kuhn and I’m excited to invite your children to the Liverpool Junior Drama Club! Interested children in grades 3, 4 and 5 are welcome to join me on Mondays from 3 – 4pm in the Fitness Room of Queens Place Emera Centre. We begin on Monday, February 1st and wrap up on Monday, March 7th. This six-week session is free of charge.
Originally a trained English and Drama teacher from Ontario, I’ve taught children in Colombia, India and southern Ontario from grades one to twelve, and am very happy to now have the opportunity to share my experience and love of performance here in Liverpool. The Junior Drama Club is a fun, practice-oriented, non-competitive and welcoming group for children to learn the basics of storytelling through drama. Using co-operative games and exercises we’ll develop our voices, gestures and expressions, as well as our connection to ourselves, our fellow actors, the physical space around us and the audience. No experience necessary! Shy children welcome! The point is to have FUN, build self-confidence and learn something about drama along the way. Register with the RQM Recreation Department at 249 White Point Road, Liverpool, a completed waiver, with Health Card information and parent/guardian’s signature is required prior to participation.
